Short Process Video….I created this abstract in my sketchbook. After I finished and was staring at it, I could actually see a figure within the abstract.

I then uploaded it to my iPad and used Procreate to trace the outline of the image I could see in my abstract background.

I am definitely pleased with the outcome. One of the reasons that I LOVE abtract painting that I create, I almost always see a figure within; sometimes I see an animal.

This is what makes my creative process so much FUN! I especially love it when I can combine the things that I absolutely enjoy making…Portraits and abstracts!
